Hi to everyone!

This blog is my blog about violins, violas, and cellos. I teach all three and thought maybe I could share some knowledge, videos, jokes, etc. If you are looking for lessons, try my web page at cihviolinstudio.com.

I have been playing the violin for about 50 years and teaching for roughly 35 years. The viola and cello are about 25 years. I am in Waldorf, MD. I have a BA in Music, a teacher certificate, and an MA in Leadership in teaching. I have also taught in Charles and St. Mary’s County Public Schools (in Maryland) for a bit. I know this part is sounding like a resume, but I wanted you all to know my background so you know I know what I’m talking about.
